Sports Massage Cambridge

Lone Tree Sports Therapy
Lone Tree Injury Clinic, Sports Massage Cambridge, is solely operated by myself, Daniel Charter. I am a Senior Sports Therapist who holds both graduate and postgraduate qualifications in:
- BSc Sports Therapy (Hons)
- MSc Sports and Exercise Medicine
I have over 7 years of clinical and 3 years of sporting-based experience working within professional football and rugby clubs alongside physiotherapists, osteopaths, and other healthcare professionals. I treat a wide range of musculoskeletal issues that arise from the muscles, joints, bones, tendons, and ligaments. My main goal is to improve your quality of life by reducing unwanted aches and pains that are stopping you from enjoying every day.

Sports Therapy and Massage
Sports therapy and massage are two complementary practices that are incredibly beneficial for athletes and individuals who engage in physically demanding activities. Sports therapy is a specialised area of healthcare that focuses on preventing and managing injuries related to sports and exercise. It involves the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries, as well as the development of exercise programs to improve performance and prevent future injuries. On the other hand, massage therapy is a hands-on approach to treating muscle and joint pain, reducing stress, and promoting relaxation. Office workers often suffer with aches and pains that require specialised advice and treatment.

Relieve Muscle Tension
When used together, sports therapy and massage can create a powerful combination that can help athletes and active individuals perform at their best. Sports therapy can identify areas of weakness or imbalance in the body, and create a plan to address them through exercises and stretches. Massage therapy can help to relieve muscle tension, improve flexibility, and increase blood flow to damaged or injured areas. Together, these practices can help to prevent injuries, promote healing, and improve overall performance.

Massage for Office Workers
Sports massage therapy can be a great solution to relieve the physical strains that come with a sedentary office job. Sitting at a desk for long hours can cause problems such as muscle tension, stiffness, and poor posture. Sports massage therapy can help alleviate these issues by increasing blood flow, reducing muscle tension, and releasing knots and trigger points. If you’re an office worker looking for a way to improve your physical health and reduce the negative effects of a sedentary job, sports massage therapy can help.
